The Globalists’ Race Against Time on China

By David Archibald – Re-Blogged From WUWT

To recap briefly, most of the communist countries collapsed by 1991 and the Western democratic tradition was seen as the winner of an existential battle that had waged since the Russian Revolution of 1917. Historian Francis Fukuyama called it “the end of history” because only good things would happen thereafter. Mankind’s ideological evolution had ended and Western liberal democracy would be the final form of government.

In response to that wishful thinking, Harvard historian Samuel Huntington wrote a paper, and subsequently a book, entitled The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of the World Order in which he predicted that with the end of ideological conflict the world would revert to a normal state of affairs characterized by cultural conflict. In particular, Professor Huntington predicted an attack by Islamists on the United States. That attack duly happened five years later. Huntington had identified China and Islam as “challenger civilizations.”

I Take This Woman . . .

Re-Blogged From iPatriot

[This article contains very controversial information. If you are offended easily, continue to another article. -Bob

The  ]internet provides everything you’d want to know about courtships, weddings, married life, but few of them include the instructions on wife-beating.  There is a brief but enlightening film, produced by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) and posted on Jihad Watch, of a Muslim sociologist who demonstrates the “proper” wife-beating technique.  Of course, the sociologist assures his audience that Islam is merciful, and that the man, the head of the household, should not have to beat his wife every day, and to do so lightly, never to hit her face or head, bruise, break bones or cause blood to flow (m10:12, Reliance of the Traveller, A Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law – ROTT).  But the cautionary statement rings hollow when the wife’s bruises will never be seen because she must be covered from head to toe.  And, should she become inured to the discipline’s sameness, there are other means of control and punishment available to him, all sanctioned by The Religion of Peace.

For the UK’s Nationalists, President Trump is a ‘Role Model’

LONDON — The demonstrators let out a collective scream: “Whose streets? Our streets!”

Anger crackled in the air as the protesters — some in red MAGA caps or dressed in flag-themed clothing — grew incensed at a small group of liberal counterprotesters who were chanting “racist scum” at them from behind a metal barricade.

“They’re the fascists!” a woman yelled back at the liberals, as her fellow demonstrators nodded approvingly.

While Media Focuses On New Mexico Jihad Camp, There Are At Least 22 Verified Islamic Terror Training Camps in US

By Tim Brown – Re-Blogged From Freedom Outpost

While the Federal Bureau of Investigation continues to investigate 1,000 ISIS-tied individuals in the united States and authorities investigate the recent Islamic compound with 11 children found in it being trained to conduct school shootings, there are at least 22 paramilitary Islamic communities in the US that they know of but are not doing anything about. Now, the stage has been set for more Islamic jihad attacks on US soil under the watchful eye of the FBI.

The groups are operated by Jamaat al-Fuqra, a Pakistan-based group, who main front group is Muslims of the Americas.

PBS: the Un-American Classroom

By Tabitha Korol – Re-Blogged From iPatriot

Soon after the horrific bombing of the World Trade Center, I happened upon a television production of the history of Islam presented by PBS, an American public broadcaster and television program distributor, self-declared as “America’s largest classroom.”  This trusted provider of television programming reaches 350 member-television stations, educational institutions, non-profit groups tied to public schools, college educational institutions, and state-government-owned or -related entities.  The narrator of the History of Islam, Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf, was already recognized for his outrageous proposal to establish a triumphal rabat-style mosque on Ground Zero. He’d hoped to name it Córdoba to echo Islam’s conquest of Spain in 711 AD.

What Trends We’re Tracking on International Women’s Day

Re-Blogged From Stratfor

The shift from a premodern farming society to a modern industrialized society, for example, hinged on the increased participation of women in the workforce. Many nations today, such as Japan, face demographic decline or economic stagnation. And in order to maintain growth, these countries are being forced to combat the legal and social barriers that have kept women out of the workforce. Even in regions such as the Middle East and North Africa, where women have explicitly been prevented from participating in public life, governments are hoping to encourage growth by embracing reform efforts that incorporate women into their economies.

Turkish President Erdogan Vows To Recapture All Lands Once Held By The Ottoman Empire

By Robert Spencer – Re-Blogged From Freedom Outpost

“We say at every opportunity we have that Syria, Iraq and other places in the geography [map] in our hearts are no different from our own homeland. We are struggling so that a foreign flag will not be waved anywhere where adhan [Islamic call to prayer in mosques] is recited.”

Apparently, Erdogan means at the very least the recapture of all the lands once held by the Ottoman Empire.

That’s not just Greece, as in the article title below. That’s also Bulgaria, Romania, Yugoslavia, Algeria, Syria, Iraq, Israel, Egypt, Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, and more.

Interview with István Markó

By Breitbart – Re-Blogged From http://www.WattsUpWithThat.com

István Markó (1956 – 2017) was a professor and researcher in organic chemistry at the Université catholique de Louvain. Prof. Dr. Marko was an outspoken defender of the skeptical view on the issue of human-caused/anthropogenic global warming, appearing in numerous French-language media on the Internet, in public debates and diverse English-language blog postings. He also joined with Anglo-Saxon climate skeptics, publishing several articles together on Breitbart News.

Grégoire Canlorbe: Climate activism is thought of as Marxism’s Trojan horse, a way for its followers to proceed with their face masked, in the never-ending holy war that Marxism claims will be necessary to establish communist totalitarianism. Yet it was actually Margaret Thatcher, the muse of conservative libertarianism, who kick-started the IPCC. How do you make sense of this?

István Markó: More precisely, Margaret Thatcher, although a trained chemist and therefore aware of the mendacious character of such an allegation about carbon dioxide (CO2), was the first proponent to use the excuse of climate implications posed by CO2 to achieve her political ends. At the time, that is, in the mid-1980s, Thatcher was waging war with the almighty coal union. In those days, the UK coal unions were remunerating themselves with public monies and by lobbying via the Labour Party had managed to pass an enormous number of laws and subsidies to keep an industry afloat that was no longer profitable on its own.

Use and Abuse of History

By Reva Goujon – Re-Blogged From https://worldview.stratfor.com

A lot of history is being casually tossed around these days. We see it from energized segments of the “alt-right” throwing up Nazi salutes, calling for a “revolution” against “the Bolsheviks” and marching to chants like “Jews will not replace us.” We see it from their anti-fascist adversaries on the left, branding themselves antifa, a movement that draws its roots from the Antifaschistische Aktion resistance from 1930s Germany. We see it from world leaders when Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan brazenly calls his German and Dutch counterparts Nazis and fascists and when U.S. President Donald Trump ardently defends Confederate statues as symbols of “heritage not hate.” We see it from jihadist groups like the Islamic State when a member of the Barcelona attack cell calling himself Abu Lais of Cordoba spookily reminds Spanish Christians to remember “the Muslim blood spilled” during the Spanish Inquisition as the group fights to reincorporate “Al Andalus” into a revived caliphate.

Martel, Patton, and Burnside… Warriors Three

By Larry Usoff- Re-Blogged From iPatriot

Martel, Patton and Burnside…warriors three:

Charles Martel, born around 686, and died in 741 was a Frankish statesman and military leader who as Duke and Prince of the Franks and Mayor of the Palace, was de facto ruler of Francia from 718 until his death.  Building on his father’s work, he restored centralized government in Francia and began a series of military campaigns that re-established the Franks as the undisputed masters of all Gaul.   After he established a unity in Gaul, his attention was called to foreign conflicts, and dealing with the Islamic advance into Western Europe was a foremost concern.

Arab and Berber Islamic forces had conquered Spain, crossed the Pyrenees, seized a major dependency of the Visigoths, and after intermittent challenges, under the Arab Governor of al-Andalus Abdul Rahman Al Ghafiqi, advanced toward Gaul and on Tours, “the holy town of Gaul”; in October 732, the army of the Umayyad Caliphate led by Al Ghafiqi met Frankish and Burgundian forces under Charles Martel in an area between the cities of Tours and Poitiers, leading to a decisive, historically important Frankish victory known as the Battle of Tours, ending the “last of the great Arab invasions of France,” a military victory termed “brilliant” on the part of Martel.

The Forces Driving Democratic Recession

By Jay Ogilvy – Re-Blogged From Stratfor

Liberal democracy is in retreat across the globe. Following decades of expansion since the 1950s, the spread of democracy hit a wall in the new millennium. Freedom House, using carefully crafted metrics, has measured a decline in democracy and freedom worldwide. Definitions are important: Does the fact of elections, even where the outcome is autocratically determined, qualify a country as a democracy? By most measures and definitions, there are now about 25 fewer democratic countries than there were at the turn of the millennium.

Founding co-editor of the Journal of Democracy Larry Diamond wrote a 2015 paper, “Facing up to the Democratic Recession.” Diamond asks, reasonably enough, “Why have freedom and democracy been regressing in many countries? The most important and pervasive answer is, in brief, bad governance.” But this tells us very little. How and why has governance been so bad?

Is American Foreign Policy The Key To Economic Growth?

Guest Post By Helen Robinson From Best Vacuum for Stairs

It is evident that American foreign policy has been and still is a major influence on economic growth. The US has been trying to maintain good relationships with other countries. In fact, the policy states that the US will try to maintain peace with other countries provided they have mutual interest. However, there are some conflicts, such as the war in the Middle East and North Korea testing missiles, that have drawn the USA into conflicts. The USA also has tried to solve most of these conflicts in an amicable way without escalating the conflicts. The US has even been sending troops to these areas with conflicts to try and deal with the conflicts.

Why All Muslims Benefit from Terrorism

[This video is controversial, to say the least. -Bob]

By David Wood  – Re-Blogged From Freedom Outpost

While many Muslims are just as horrified by terrorism as the rest of us are, all Muslims nevertheless benefit from Islam. This is because both peaceful and violent Muslims tend to share two important goals: (1) the conversion of non-Muslims to Islam, and (2) the silencing of critics of Islam. Since terrorism helps achieve these goals, all Muslims benefit from Islam.

Is a Religious War in Europe Imminent?

From Vigileaks – Re-Blogged From http://www.iPatriot.com

Over the weekend, several people in France were taken into custody because of involvement in planned terrorist attacks in Paris. The intelligence communities in Europe, Israel and in the United States received tremendous amounts of warnings regarding imminent threats on cities in western Europe that are targets before the Christmas season, during the Christmas season, and right into the New Year!

We aren’t just talking about an isolated terror attack, we’re talking about the injection of millions of new Muslims in Europe. We’re talking about a religious war in Europe right now. The State Dept. just issued a warning either not to go to those places or to exercise extreme caution! This impending Religious War is ignored by mainstream media! Now is the time to forewarn friends, family, armed forces personnel, embassy workers, educators and contacts in Europe!

Hungarians Vote 98% AGAINST Forced Muslim Quotas For Their Country

By Walid Shoebat – Re-Blogged From http://freedomoutpost.com

The divide between East and West, Christian and Muslim just became deeper after not only the Hungarians voted against the European Union’s Muslim “quotas” for Hungary, but they rejected it by an overwhelming 98% margin:

98.3% of Hungarian voters have rejected mandatory EU asylum seeker quotas in a referendum proposed by PM Viktor Orban. But the opposition boycott of Sunday’s ballot appears to have worked, as turnout failed to clear the key 50 percent threshold.

Only 1.7 percent of the voters answered ‘Yes’ to the question “Do you want the European Union to be able to mandate the obligatory resettlement of non-Hungarian citizens into Hungary even without the approval of the National Assembly?

Muslim Refugee Moratorium

cropped-bob-shapiro.jpg   By Bob Shapiro

One reader reminded me of the terrific positive effect on the US Economy of the couple of hundred years of the US allowing immigrants into the country. He is absolutely right!

In recent articles, mostly re-blogs, US-Issues.com has called for a halt (or at least a slowing) of the importation by our government of so called refugees from Muslim countries, most publicized in the media from Syria.

President Obama has bragged about bringing in his 10,000th Syrian refugee (how many Muslims in all?), and federal judges have ruled that individual states cannot prevent settlement with their borders. President Obama even has imported foreign Muslim Imams to teach the refugees proper Sharia!

What The Media Is Not Telling You About The Captured Afghan Terrorist And Where He Learned His Terror Trade

We now know that the Chelsea bombing and other bombings suspect Ahmad Khan Rahami was trained in Afghanistan and slipped the eye of the intelligence. Investigators first identified Rahami Sunday afternoon by identifying him through a fingerprint. The cell phone on the pressure cooker device was also found.

A man who described himself as a childhood friend of Rahami told the Herald the suspect had made a life-changing trip to Afghanistan two years ago.

“At one point he left to go to Afghanistan, and two years ago he came back, popped up out of nowhere and he was real religious,” friend Flee Jones, 27, said of suspect Ahmad Khan Rahami. “And it was shocking. I’m trying to understand what’s going on. I’ve never seen him like this.”

The Muslim Brotherhood’s Plan for America

By Onan Coca – Re-Blogged From http://www.FreedomForce.com

Brigitte Gabriel is one of the world’s leading defenders of speech and women’s rights. She is the President of ACT for America and she was recently speaking at the Family Research Council’s Watchmen on the Wall conference. Her speech was about the threat of radical Islam, and she focused on the Muslim Brotherhood’s plan for our nation.

In 2004, federal investigators discovered a Muslim Brotherhood memorandum during a search of a northern Virginia home. The memorandum, written by Mohamed Akram for the Muslim Brotherhood’s Shura Council, described a “civilization jihad” aimed at North America. It stated: “The Ikhwan must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.” This explanatory memorandum also included a list of 29 Muslim Brotherhood connected organizations in the U.S. The memorandum was entered into evidence at the Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing trial in 2007-2008.

You can see the plan here.

Islam and the US Economy

By Bob Shapiro

I came across the following video which I’d like to share with you. It’s one view of the spread of Islam throughout the world through the many centuries since it started.

The point which I found especially interesting – and relevant to the mission of this web site – is that before an area was conquered, there was a concerted, relentless effort to ruin the Economy of that area. Commerce was attacked. The ability to build wealth was attacked. It could take decades or generations, but, once the area lost economic vitality, the soldiers of Islam were able to take over and to subjugate the area.

The wars in Iraq and Afghanistan cost the US over a Trillion Dollars and many thousands of dead and wounded men and women who were in the prime of their lives. The stupidity of the regulations coming out of the Wars on Fossil Fuels by he governments of all the western countries – not least the US (EPA Endangerment Finding anyone?), have sapped the west of most of its economic vitality. A US President who is openly fanning the flames of racial and ethnic hatreds in the US, and who gives rewards to his cronies while persecuting his enemies, while he flouts the US Constitution, is making the US Economy and social cohesiveness weaker.

Policies in the west have allowed tens of thousands of Islamic refugees to pour into the west. In the US, these people are only a tiny percentage of the open border aliens flooding in. We’ve seen the Islamic influence in country after country turn to violence, as it did with the coordinated terror attacks in Paris a few days ago. I have to give a significant probability of upcoming Islamic terror attacks – again! – in the US.

You may not agree with everything in the video (I didn’t), but I expect that you’ll find it interesting and informative. It’s 45 minutes long and may start in the middle in your browser, so you may have to move the time slider back to the left.

16 States Move to BAN Sharia Law!

By Tim Brown – Re-Blogged From Eagle Rising

The threat is very real to impose Islamic Sharia law in America and thankfully at least sixteen states realize the threat and are seeking to squash it before it can gain any more momentum.

Back in September, Texas stood up against any foreign law being implemented, including Sharia, and cries of the Muslims were heard across the nation, including those from designated terror group the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). But Texas wouldn’t back down and have determined that they won’t have Sharia enforcement in their state.

Alabama banned Sharia after voters passed a measure to add an amendment to their state constitution. We hope they’ll stand for that a little better than they did their marriage amendment.

Two Suicide Bombers Get Into a Fight – Blow Themselves Up!

By Onan Coca – Re-Blogged From http://eaglerising.com

I shouldn’t find this story so deliciously ironic. But I do. The loss of life is never something to be cheered but there are times when it becomes difficult to remember that. Like when a person or persons plans to kill as many innocent people as they can, but instead they just end up killing themselves. In cases like that, we can breath a sigh of relief and actually be thankful that more people weren’t hurt.

Addressing Terrorist Threats

cropped-bob-shapiro.jpg   By Bob Shapiro

In any movement, there are players with differing amounts of enthusiasm, who give differing amounts of support to the movement. Some may be provocative in their actions, while others though generally opposed to the outcome of the movement, may be counted as supporters by their silence. The silence may be due to fear of reprisal or because life gives them more important things to concentrate on.

Will the West Defend Itself?

Re-Blogged From http://www.CapitalismMagazine.com

walter-williams-142x200   By Walter Williams

Leftists and progressives believe that the U.S. should become more like Europe. They praise Europe’s massive welfare state, socialized medicine and stifling economic regulation and accept its unwillingness to defend itself against barbarism. I wonder whether America’s leftists and progressives want to import some of Europe’s barbaric extremism associated with its Muslim population.

Is There a Terrorism Problem?

cropped-bob-shapiro.jpg   By Bob Shapiro

Few activities have as far reaching economic impact as war. And, while war can be carried out in several ways, few can be more devastating to the well being of a people as terrorism. This post will explore terrorism, and so I apologize in advance for the downbeat tone.

In today’s world, acts of terrorism are spread so widely, that it is possible for the various acts to be either

  • completely separate,
  • several pockets of individual groups’ attacks, or
  • largely instigated by a single central authority or philosophy.

While most people would consider terrorism as being made up only of violent, planned activity, this need not be the case.
