I Love America Too Much to Stay Silent

By Nestride Yumga – Re-Blogged From Prager University

Nestride Yumga experienced real corruption and civil rights abuses in Africa. Then she came to America, the land of opportunity, education, and freedom. So when Black Lives Matter protests declared America guilty of systemic racism and injustice, she knew she had to defend her adoptive country.

BLM Mob Beats White Man Unconscious After Making Him Crash Truck

A mob of Portland Black Lives Matter protesters forced a white man to crash his truck, then punched and kicked him unconscious, disturbing footage shows.

A series of clips on social media shows the victim being surrounded in his white Ford truck at 10.30 p.m. Sunday as others attacked a woman he was with, who was punched and even tackled to the ground during the violent melee.

“He didn’t do nothing!” someone could be heard calling as others punched the driver as he sat in his truck, which was also repeatedly kicked.

NPR Fires Weatherman for Comparing Seattle Riots to Germany in 1938 on His Personal Blog

By Ari Hoffman – Re-Blogged From Post Millenial
A weatherman for a NPR has been taken off the air for a personal blog post that shows in vivid detail the destruction two months of incessant rioting and protests have wrecked on Seattle.
A weatherman for a National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate in Tacoma has been taken off the air for a personal blog post that shows in vivid detail the destruction two months of incessant rioting and protests have wrecked on Seattle.

The NPR affiliate took issue with Cliff Mass’ comparison of the destruction in Seattle to Kristallnacht, the “Night of Broken Glass” in 1938, where rioters destroyed Jewish owned stores, buildings, and houses of worship while German authorities looked on without intervention and even encouraged the violence.

This is the passage that got him into trouble:

ANDY NGO: Antifa ‘Not a Myth,’ Has ‘Made Rioting an Art Form’

In chilling testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee’s subcommittee on the Constitution, undercover journalist Andy Ngo confirmed the nightmares of many and cast new light on the mechanisms of domestic terrorism group Antifa.

Many on the Left, including its mainstream media allies, have downplayed the group’s organized activity, likely driven by talking points that originated within Antifa itself, during its role in recent race riots.

In fact, Ngo, a Portland resident, began his testimony by directly refuting a shocking claim made by Rep. Jerrold Nadler that the violence in the Oregon city was merely a fiction being circulated by Capitol Hill politicos.

Madison Ave. Business Sues Cuomo, De Blasio for Riots, Estimates $100M in Damages

Re-Blogged From Rushmore Daily

On May 29, George Floyd protests in New York City devolved into looting, riots, and arson. Between May 29 and June 9, looters and rioters damaged more than 450 businesses. During that lawless destruction, the NYPD union president blamed Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-N.Y.) and Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) for publicly attacking police and for not sending reinforcements to restore order. Now, at least one business is filing a lawsuit to hold them accountable.

Is America Headed For A Post-Apocalyptic Currency Collapse?

By Stefan Gleason – Re-Blogged From Silver Phoenix

Just when it seemed as though America may be turning the corner after months of lockdown… just when it seemed as though we were on a path to reopening and gradually returning to normalcy… just when the prospects of panic-induced social unrest seemed to be behind us…

…America’s cities erupted into flames.

Antifa and BLM-organized rioting, looting, violence, and mayhem have pushed cities across the country into pandemonium. Even if the insurrections are soon quelled – as President Donald Trump promised to do in a speech in front of the White House on Monday – the consequences won’t soon go away.

Expensive Climate Policies Sparked Chile Riots

By: James Taylor – Re-Blogged From WUWT

From the unintended consequences department. The COP25 climate conference in Santiago Chile was cancelled, and now moved at the last minute to Madrid, Spain.

Climate activists and the United Nations are suffering a major black eye this week as protests and riots resulting from high energy prices have erupted in Santiago, Chile.

Chile, which will host a major U.N. climate conference in December, earned praise from climate activists for recently imposing a carbon dioxide tax on conventional energy sources and switching the Santiago Metro system to renewable power. Now, the people of Chile are rising up and firing a shot across the bow of other nations considering similar energy taxes and expensive renewable energy programs.

2017 Economic Forecast: Global Headwinds Look Like Mother of All Storms

By David Haggith – Re-Blogged From GREAT Recession Blog

Headwinds that are starting to assail deep structural flaws in the US and global economies form the basis for my 2017 economic forecast, which looks like an all-out economic crisis building throughout the world. Some of these headwinds are global; some more locally focused within the United States, but that which brings down the US economy wounds the world anyway. Ultimately, global concerns threaten the US, and US concerns threaten the globe. We’re all in this together, even as we seem to be flying apart in political whirlwinds everywhere and fracturing national alliances all over the world.

Even in the US where the Trump Triumph has ignited consumer and business hopes and inflamed the stock market, time is not on Trump’s side. Trump’s own key advisors — like Steve Bannon and Larry Kudlow — have stated unequivocally that Trump’s plans must happen quickly if they are going to save the US economy. Trump, himself, campaigned on the endless refrain that the US economy was rapidly approaching catastrophe. That’s why we needed to elect him. If we take the architects of these hope-inspiring plans at their word, 2017 is a make-or-break year for the US, and the clock is ticking against their success.

Unemployment & Civil Unrest

cropped-bob-shapiro.jpg   By Bob Shapiro

In Summer 1965, the US suffered through much turmoil, including the Watts riots.

Today in the US, we again are having civil unrest, but with a major difference. Today’s unrest appears to be more organized, with police and other authorities as specific targets.

Even the “lone wolf” attacks seem to have a common thread tying them together – Islam. Now, I’m not saying that most American born muslims are set on destroying our country, but before you dismiss me as a racist, you might want to reread the current events of the last couple of years.

Most of the press stories seem to be placing the blame squarely on the Republicans – currently in office and hopefuls on the campaign trail. While many Republicans in Congress are complicit with the policies that are hurting all Americans – including poor blacks – for the most part, they aren’t the ones coming up with these stupid policies.
