Military Report: EMP AttackPoses Direct Threat to U.S.

By Solange Reyner – Re-Blogged From Newsmax

A new report from the United States Air Force Air University warns of an electromagnetic pulse type attack that poses a direct threat to the “United States, democracy, and the world order,” and says the U.S. is unprepared for one should it happen.

The report, titled “Electromagnetic Defense Task Force,” says an attack could shut down the U.S. electric grid for a year-and-a-half, melt down nuclear plants, cripple the U.S. military, displace 4.1 million people and kill 90 percent of the East Coast within a year.

Russia & Ukraine On Brink Of War

[According to this report, it looks like Ukraine drew first blood. Anybody have additional information? -Bob]

By Michael Snyder – Re-Blogged From Freedom Outpost

A respected foreign journalist living in Ukraine is warning that a war that most Americans cannot even imagine “teeters on the razor-thin edge of becoming real”.  When Russia opened fire on Ukrainian Navy vessels and captured three of their ships, it made headlines all over the globe.  An emergency meeting of the UN Security Council was hastily arranged for Monday at 11 AM, and hopefully, there will be a positive outcome from that meeting.  Because right now Moscow and Kiev are on the brink of war, and once a Russian invasion happens there will be no turning back.  At that point the U.S. would have a major decision to make, and if we chose to defend Ukraine that could mean that we would suddenly find ourselves fighting World War 3.

“No Choice” Other Than War

By Michael Snyder – Re-Blogged From Freedom Outpost

Israel and Hamas are already essentially in a state of war, and yet the mainstream media in the United States has been virtually silent about this conflict.  For the past 6 months, Hamas has been conducting violent demonstrations along the border with Israel, and last Friday 130 protesters got shot as the violence escalated wildly out of control.  Over the past several weeks, Israel has been enduring an endless barrage of incendiary devices and rockets, and the Israelis appear to be out of patience at this point.  On Wednesday night, the Israeli military hit eight different Hamas targets in the Gaza strip.  The following comes from Haaretz

The Israeli military struck eight Hamas targets in three different military compounds in the Gaza Strip late Wednesday night following the firing of a rocket into southern Israel.

These strikes were in response to a rocket that had been fired into Israel earlier in the day

Sweden Warns Every Single Household to Prep for War

By Daisy Luther – Re-Blogged From Freedom Outpost

The government of Sweden has produced a 20-page pamphlet which they’ll be sending to each of the 4.8 million households in the country urging them to get prepared for…WAR.

Although they haven’t been at war for over 200 years, for some reason, right now, they want their citizens to get prepped – and fast. This goes along with an article I wrote in January of 2018 when the government urged their people to be ready to cope “without help” for at least a week.

U.S. President Donald Trump Cancels the North Korea Summit With Kim Jong Un

Re-Blogged From Stratfor

In a shock announcement, U.S. President Donald Trump has canceled the planned June 12 summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. In a letter directly addressed to Kim, released early May 24, the U.S. president thanked his North Korean counterpart for his time and patience in the discussions but said that the “tremendous anger and open hostility” displayed in North Korea’s most recent statement made a meeting inappropriate. The letter is referring to a May 23 statement made by North Korean Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Choe Son Hui in the state-run media outlet KCNA, in which she threatened to pull out of the North Korean summit and condemned U.S. Vice President Mike Pence for recent remarks threatening North Korea if it doesn’t make a deal with the United States. Choe’s statement is the second such threat from North Korean officials in the past week. Trump’s letter ends with an invitation for North Korea to reach out if the country changes its mind about its position on the United States.

The 1970s All Over Again?

BY John Rubino – Re-Blogged From http://www.Gold-Eagle.com

For most Americans the geopolitical/financial crises of the 1970s happened so long ago that they’re about as relevant as the Revolutionary War or the Reformation.

But for seasoned citizens who were around back then and paying attention, the similarities to today are becoming both eerie and scary. Consider:
